Abstract

Agricultural extension services play a pivotal role in linking scientific research to practical farming practices, ensuring that farmers have access to the latest knowledge, technologies, and methods. This article explores the functions, challenges, and impact of agricultural extension services, focusing on how they act as intermediaries between researchers, policymakers, and the agricultural community. Through case studies and data analysis, the article evaluates how effective extension services contribute to productivity, sustainability, and rural development. The findings emphasize the need for policy support, innovation, and collaboration to improve the effectiveness of extension services in addressing current agricultural challenges, including climate change, resource management, and food security.
