Publication Ethics

International Journal of Scientific Discoveries is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical behavior in the publication process. This policy outlines the ethical guidelines for authors, reviewers, and editors involved in the journal.

1. Authorship and Contributions
   All authors listed on a manuscript must have made significant contributions to the research and the writing of the manuscript. Authors are expected to ensure that all individuals who have contributed substantially to the work are included as co-authors, and those who have not contributed sufficiently should not be included.

2. Originality and Plagiarism
   Manuscripts submitted to International Journal of Scientific Discoveries must be original and not published elsewhere. Plagiarism in any form—whether direct, self-plagiarism, or paraphrasing without proper citation—is strictly prohibited. Authors should ensure that all sources of information are appropriately acknowledged.

3. Conflict of Interest
   All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, professional, or personal conflicts of interest that could influence their work or the review process. Any potential conflicts of interest should be disclosed to the editorial board prior to the submission of the manuscript. Failure to do so may result in rejection or retraction of the article.

4. Peer Review Process

   If a manuscript is found to contain significant errors or issues after publication, authors are expected to notify the editorial board promptly. The journal will publish corrections or retractions as necessary to ensure the accuracy of the scientific record. Retractions will be issued if there is evidence of unethical behavior, such as plagiarism, data fabrication, or other violations of research ethics.

8. Reviewer and Editor Responsibilities
   Reviewers are responsible for providing constructive, unbiased, and confidential reviews of manuscripts. They must disclose any conflicts of interest and refrain from using the information in the manuscript for personal or professional gain. Editors are responsible for ensuring that all manuscripts undergo a fair and transparent review process and for making final decisions on the publication of manuscripts based on the reviews.

9. Respect for Intellectual Property
   Authors must respect the intellectual property of others and ensure that their manuscripts do not infringe upon the copyrights, patents, or proprietary information of other researchers. Proper attribution must be given to all sources, and authors should avoid any form of plagiarism or intellectual theft.

10. Transparency and Accountability
    International Journal of Scientific Discoveries adheres to a policy of transparency in the publication process. Authors, reviewers, and editors are encouraged to share data, methodology, and findings to ensure the reproducibility of research. The journal expects all parties involved to maintain high standards of accountability, honesty, and integrity throughout the publication process.
